Stephens Firs - Footway Closure 8 to 10 December 2021

As part of West Berkshire’s footway improvement works this year, Stephens Firs will undergo footway resurfacing from 8th to 10th December 2021.  This will result in the footway being closed and restricted working by their contractors from 9:30am to 3.30pm on each day.

This Christmas Shop Local, Shop Green

Calling all eco-conscious local businesses!

This Christmas, West Berkshire Council is going to be showcasing our independent local businesses with green initiatives by creating an online magazine. This is to encourage residents to shop local and shop green, as part of the Council’s aim to make West Berkshire greener. So, whether you are a farmshop selling locally-sourced produce, or an craft store with eco-friendly gifts, tell them more to be included in the Christmas magazine!

Thames Valley Police Museum Open Mornings

The Thames Valley Police Museum are holding open mornings on Wednesdays between 10.00am - 12.00pm when you can pop along without making an appointment or paying a visitors fee.

The Museum is based in the White House at The Thames Valley Police Training Centre in Sulhamstead, near Reading, Berkshire, RG7 4DX.

The Museum's collections include displays on the Great Train Robbery and the history of Thames Valley Police.
