Contracting With Us

The Council manages various amenities within the Parish including:

• the Fairground
• the Parish Council Cemetery
• West End Road Car Park
• Windmill Common
• the War Memorial
• the adopted telephone box
• the pillbox.

In addition to overseeing the upkeep of these amenities, the Council occasionally undertakes work, with the permission of the landowner, on non-Parish Council managed land.

Quotes for work needed will be sought in accordance with the Council’s Standing Orders (pdf opens in new window), Financial Regulations (pdf opens in new window) and Procurement Terms (pdf opens in new window). References may be sought and contractors must have:

• a minimum of £5m public liability insurance
• provide risk assessments and method statements if required
