West Berkshire Council's contractors will be undertaking the siding out work on the footway along a 700m section from Strawberry Fields to Kiln Lane. There will be a temporary traffic management system in place during the period, including signals, along The Street.
Work will be carried out between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm on 25th-28th October.
Please note that, unfortunately, there will be a certain level of disruption and noise during the works.
Vulnerable households across the country will be able to access a new national £500m support fund to help them with essentials over the coming months as the country continues its recovery from the pandemic.
As part of West Berkshire’s footway improvement works this year, Stephens Firs will undergo footway resurfacing from 8th to 10th December 2021. This will result in the footway being closed and restricted working by their contractors from 9:30am to 3.30pm on each day.
Residents who have recently completed COVID-19 PCR tests at Newbury Showground may have been given an incorrect negative result.
