The Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service offers a Safe and Well visit to vulnerable residents with tailored fire safety advice, smoke detection, hearing impaired alarms (if needed) and well-being advice with signposting to additional agencies.

The parish council office will be closed on Monday, 19th September 2022 in respect of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's State Funeral and the national bank holiday.
Briar Lea Road in the Parish of Stratfield Mortimer will be closed on from 27th – 28th September 2022, between the hours of 07:00 – 19:00. This closure is to enable Volker Highways to carryout Conventional Surfacing works behalf of West Berkshire Council.

There will be a minute silence and moment of reflection held on the eve of the funeral of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II - Sunday, 18th September 2022.
