Longmoor Lane in the Parish of Stratfield Mortimer will be closed on the 26th April 2023, from the hours of 07:00 – 19:00. The closure is from property 36 - 41. The closure is to enable Volker Highways to carry out resurfacing work as part of the highways improvement programme on behalf of West Berkshire Council.
West Berkshire Council’s contractor Volker Highways Ltd., will be undertaking essential carriageway surfacing works on West End Road, Stratfield Mortimer.
This essential works are taking place 20th to 27th April. Work will be between 09:30am and 3:30pm.
Works will be undertaken with a road closure and a signed alternative diversion route.
The closure of Burghfield Road in the Parish of Stratfield Mortimer has been rescheduled to Wednesday, 3rd May 2023, from the hours of 09:30 – 15:30, due to poor weather forecasted. The closure is from its junction with Victoria Road to Stratfield Mortimer Footpath 29 . The closure is to enable Volker Highways to carry out re-texturing work on behalf of West Berkshire Council as part of the highways improvement programme.
The Annual Parish Meeting will take place on Monday, 24th April 2023, in St John's Hall on West End Road. All electors of the Parish of Stratfield Mortimer are invited to attend.
Doors will open at 7.00pm when there will be an opportunity to see displays relevant to the agenda. The formal agenda will start at 7.30pm.
