This is an annual award given to a person who has devoted outstanding time and energy for the benefit of the community of Stratfield Mortimer, irrespective of whether or not they live in the village.

West Berkshire Council have advised that due to the withdrawal of the item relating to the redevelopment of Four Houses Corner (23/01552/REG3) from the agenda of the EAPC meeting scheduled for 10th January, and, as this was the only item, the meeting has now been cancelled.
The application will now be considered by the EAPC at a later date.

An AMBER Cold-Health Alert - has been updated for the South East and is in effect between 08/01/2024 at 12:00 and 12/01/2024 at 12:00.
The meeting of the Finance & General Purposes Committee that was scheduled for 8.15pm on 21st December has now been cancelled. The next meeting of the Committee will take place in early January - agenda will be shared later this month.
During the holiday period, the parish council office will be closed after Friday, 22nd December 2023 and will reopen on Tuesday, 2nd January 2024.
