Parish Plan
Stratfield Mortimer's Parish Plan sets out to:
- conserve the rural heritage and distinctive character of the parish;
- continue to allow small businesses to thrive;
- enhance the quality of life for the whole community;
- and ensure developments are in harmony with their setting and enrich the parish.
The Parish Plan was created in 2004 by the Parish Plan Co-ordination Team with the assistance from the Communications Team, residents who took part in consultations and completed questionnaires, officers from West Berkshire Council, and the Mortimer History Club.
A refresh of the Plan was carried out and adopted in 2009.
