Calling all eco-conscious independent cafes, restaurants and pubs.
West Berkshire Council’s Economic Development and Environment team are working on a campaign called ‘Dine Out Sustainably in West Berkshire’. This is aimed at promoting sustainable food and drink businesses in the District.
There will be temporary traffic management including signals along The Street, Mortimer. The work will take place between Wednesday the 8th of June and Friday the 10th of June 2022.
The temporary traffic management is required in order to protect the work force undertaking the work including hedge cutting and disposal, along on the footway. The work will take place along a 300m section from Strawberry Fields to Kiln Lane.
West Berkshire Libraries have sent apologies that, due to staff sickness, Mortimer Library has not been open today, Tuesday, 7th June.
The library should be open again on Friday afternoon as normal.
