The Council is excited to announce its new Community Grant Fund.
The outdoor gym equipment has now been installed on the Fairground but the equipment is currently closed off until the health and safety inspection has been completed.
The area will remain sectioned off and unavailable for use until next week when the safety inspection is carried out.
Once opened, the outdoor gym will be for the use of adults and children over 14 and we look forward to seeing it used as part of people's fitness routines.
Further to the recall by the manufacturers, the defibrillators at:
- Mortimer Surgery, 72 Victoria Road
- Sansome & George Estate Agents, 45 West End Road
- Horse And Groom Public House, The Street
are temporarily unavailable whilst being upgraded and will be back online as soon as possible.
The following village defibrillators are currently offline due to a software issue:
- Mortimer Surgery 72 Victoria Road
- Sansome & George Estate Agents 45 West End Road
- Horse And Groom Public House The Street
This is being looked into as a matter of urgency.
In the event of an emergency, please dial 999 and, if appropriate, you will be directed to the nearest online defibrillator.
The installation of the fitness equipment on the Fairground will now be starting on Friday the 29th of July as opposed to Thursday the 28th. As before, the area to the left of the tennis courts will be sectioned off and will be unavailable until installation is complete and the final inspection undertaken. This remains as approximately the 6th of August.
