The Royal British Legion are intending to transfer their Trusteeship of Garth Hall, Mortimer.
Following a publicity campaign earlier this year, a potential new Trustee has been identified to take over the Trust under which the property/land is held.
West Berkshire Council, in partnership with Veolia and Podback, the pod recycling service, have added used aluminium and plastic coffee pods to the items collected at both Newton Road and Padworth Recycling Centres in West Berkshire.

At the Full Council meeting next week under Agenda item 24-044 3a the Council will be discussing the Reserved Land (MOR006) behind Tower Gardens as part of the Neighbourhood Plan.

On behalf of Frank’s family and friends we just wanted to let you know that Frank’s funeral will be taking place on Thursday 25 July at 2pm at St Mary’s Church, with the wake being held in the Horse and Groom after the service.
On the way to the Church, the cortege will travel along Longmoor lane and round past The Fairground.
All are welcome at the service and the wake.
