West Berkshire Council have announced that the Local Plan Review 2022-2039 is proposed to be withdrawn in favour of a new approach which focuses on new developments within existing town and village boundaries.

The Community Carols event, organised by the Methodist Church, will take place on Tuesday, 19 December.
The event will be led by Rev John Banks and will be hosted at the Horse & Groom at 6.30pm.

As you are probably aware, West Berkshire Council, along with many other local authorities, is facing unprecedented financial pressures due to a number of national and global factors which has left a significant funding gap in next year’s budget. In order to address this budget gap, savings are needed which could affect a number of front-line services, some of which sit within the Council’s Environment Department.
