In late January and early February 2020, Stratfield Mortimer Parish Council held a public consultation (via an exhibition and a survey in parish council newsletter and online) regarding several possible projects which the Parish Council could undertake using CIL (Community Infrastructure Levy).

Reading Road/Goring Road/Padworth Road in the Parishes of Sulhamstead/Stratfield Mortimer & Wokefield will be closed from the 17th May to 19th May 2021 between the hours of 09:30 to 15:30, from their junctions with Island Farm Road, Victoria Road & Hollybush Lane.

West Berkshire Council is running a public consultation to encourage more cycling and walking called Active Streets. WBC is looking for roads or pavements that need improving to help the public add more walking or cycling to their daily routines.
