- PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972, that further to the resignation of Cllr Andy Noonan a casual vacancy has occurred in the office of Councillor for Stratfield Mortimer Parish Council.

As living costs continue to soar, West Berkshire Council is continuing to assist the local community through its Household Support Fund until spring 2025.
The parish council's Community Grant Fund is available for community-based initiatives, and recently the council awarded the following grants:-
A grant of £1,500 to the Mortimer Pre-school for provision of music classes for pre-school children.
A grant of £1500 to Mortimer Music Live CIC for two heavy-duty gazebos.
A grant of £1270 to the Mortimer Table Tennis Club towards Youth Sessions.
