BT Telepone Kiosk

The Parish Council has now concluded the adoption of the old red telephone kiosk adjacent to Budgens on the corner of King Street and Victoria Road.

The telephone equipment has been removed by BT and the Council (at its meeting on 14th January 2021, item 20/078 7) has agreed to have a new defibrillator installed for emergency use at this corner of the village. The Finance & General Purposes Committee will also be looking at providing additional defibrillators in other parts of the village where not served so far.

Fairground Update

Please note that under the current Covid-19 restrictions, the Fairground is now open for exercise purposes ONLY.

The multi-games court and the tennis courts are CLOSED. The children’s playground remains open and parents should follow guidelines to keep themselves and their children safe whilst using the equipment.

Treeworks On The Fairground

Please note that there will be tree works taking place on the Fairground - week commencing Monday, 23rd November - for a few days.

Take care when walking around the areas where the contractors are working, especially if you have young children and pets with you.
