RESCHEDULED: Community Forum – Cost of Living and Flood/Winter Preparedness
Please join West Berkshire Council at 6:30pm on Tuesday 3 December for the next community forum, an informative session focussing on winter preparedness in West Berkshire.
This forum is an opportunity for residents, community members, and stakeholders to come together and discuss the local challenges and opportunities that can shape the future of our neighbourhoods.
SMPC are delighted to announce that Danielle Davis will be joining us as an officer of the Council on 9 December and will be the new Clerk as of 1 January 2025. We are looking forward to working with her.
The Advent Sunday Service will take place at St. John's Church, Mortimer at 6 pm on Sunday 1st December followed by the Blessing & Lighting of the Christmas Tree on Mortimer Fairground at 7pm
Notice is hereby given that, by the resignation of Cllrs A Marsden and A Noonan, two vacancies have occurred among members of the Parish Council.
Any person willing to fill this vacancy should apply to the Clerk in writing at the.clerk@stratfield-mortimer@gov.uk and request an application form, which should be returned on or before Tuesday 31 December 2024.
To apply, you must be a British, Commonwealth, Republic of Ireland or European Union citizen and must be aged 18 or over.

Their mission is to ensure that everyone in West Berkshire has the opportunity to lead a healthy life, with a particular focus on those in vulnerable communities or facing heart-related issues.
