Freedom of Information Act

Stratfield Mortimer Parish Council adopted, on the 14th November 2019, a revised Publication Scheme as developed and approved by the Information Commissioner in line with Section 20 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for Local Councils and will publish information in accordance with that Scheme.

If you require a paper version of any information, or want to ask whether information is available please contact the council by telephone, email, fax or letter. Contact details are set out in the sidebar.

If the information you’re looking for isn’t available via the scheme (and isn’t on our website), you can still contact the Clerk at Stratfield Mortimer Parish Council to ask if we have it.

Exempt Material

Personal information relating to Councillors (other than required to be declared in Register of Interest), Personal information relating to employees and Tenders and bids from contractors and suppliers. Note: Data Protection Legislation prohibits the publication of certain categories of information. 

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the Parish Council has 20 working days from receipt of a request (in writing) to provide the information requested or to supply a refusal. Please be aware that the Parish Council Office is not staffed every day so correspondence may not be acknowledged straight away.
