Carers Rights Day event this Thursday

Come along to this free event for information and advice, and find out how to get the help and support you are entitled to.
Session 1: from 10.30am - 12 noon
Session 2: from 1.00pm - 3.00pm
Some of the organisations available all day include:
- TuVida (Berkshire) Carers Hub - advice and information
- West Berkshire Council - advice and information
- Beechcroft Memory Clinic - support for families and carers following a dementia diagnosis
- Healthwatch - patient and public champion for health services and social care
- SSEN Energy - information about the additional services provided to vulnerable people and details on the Priority Services Register.
There will be a presentation at the afternoon session only on the legal issues facing the elderly providing practical guidance around Powers of Attorney, Deputyships and Wills.
