Criminal Damage on The Fairground
Yesterday, a new safety surface was laid under the big basket swing in the adventure playground on the Fairground. The work was finished by 4:20pm and by 6pm, despite the area being fenced off, the wanton damage shown in the photo had been done.
Considering the time the damage was caused, we are hopeful that there were plenty of people in the area at that time and we would like to hear from anyone who saw a person/persons inside the fenced area. We are appealing to members of the public to help the parish council stop this type of vandalism. The cost of repairing the repeated damage that is being done to village property is paid for by all residents. Failure to act will affect what facilities the council is able to provide in the future.
