West End Road Update - Partial Closure until mid August
Dates for the closure have now been extended to the 16th August 2021.
Thames Water have advised that due to geological characteristics, a change in working method is required, thus this process will take longer that initially anticipated.
West End Road, Mortimer is currently closed from its junction with St Catherine’s Hill to its junction with Stephens Road. An alternative route is via St Catherine’s Hill, Victoria Road, Stephens Road and vice versa.
The purpose of this closure is so Thames Water can carry out the reinforcement/replacement of the water main.
Residential access will be maintained throughout and the diversion will be signed on site.
