Grant for St John’s Hall
At its meeting on the 27th of July, the Council agreed to give a grant of £500.00 to the St John’s Hall Management Committee towards the refurbishment of the outside area of the hall.
Being directly adjacent to the footway, this area is aimed at public use and the refurbishment will make the area more appealing for people to sit and chat. The Committee will be installing a new bench and two planters, one of which will be dedicated to the memory of Lawrence Picking who was an active member of Mortimer Dramatic Society and respected former Chairman of Stratfield Mortimer Parish Council.
