Start of new Mortimer Neighbourhood Plan
The Parish Council has appointed 10 people to the Steering Group of the new Neighbourhood Plan (NP) of whom three are parish councillors.
The Service Level Agreement with West Berkshire Council, which defines the relationship between the NP and WBC, has been signed and put in place.
As the Steering Group begins to develop ideas of what the NP could encompass, there will be opportunities for public consultation and for other volunteers to get involved. To begin with, information about the NP will be posted on the SMPC website until a dedicated NP website has been developed.
