Extreme Heat Warning
A Heatwave level 4 warning has been issued for the first time by the Met Office for parts of England next week (Monday,18th and to Wednesday, 20th July), meaning a risk to life is likely as temperatures could reach 40C (104F) in some areas.
Population-wide adverse health effects are likely to be experienced and not limited to those most vulnerable to extreme heat, leading to serious illness or danger to life.
