Annual Parish Meeting

Come and meet your Parish Councillors and some of your local groups and find out what has been happening in the community. This is also your chance to come and tell the parish council what you are concerned about in the village.
There will be a series of short talks plus plenty of time for anyone in the audience to express their views on any local topic. The evening will include (order to yet be decided):
• SMPC chairman’s report and updates on parish council projects
• Announcement and presentation of prizes in the Children’s Art Competition
• Alison Porter on the current progress on Building Berkshire Together – the project to build a new hospital for Berkshire
• Presentation of the 2024 Community Award
• Update from the parish council on speed camera results
• Update on the parish council’s investigations into the discharges into Foundry Brook by Thames Water.
Doors open from 7pm
